It’s a face. I love faces in art. However they are captured, fine by me. I can never get enough. All though, I have spent some time trying to research my found treasure, I come up empty handed. What I can see on the edge in picture four is _ _ AGON©1964 or 1984 or 1961,81. On the bottom white ceramic there is the initials in capitals TM. Maybe it is nothing to out of this world, but its art, it belongs to someone. Furthermore, the execution is really very good. If, any of you folk out in Collectors Weeklys land have a tip on this sculpture, I would surely appreciate it. It measures 5.5 long x 4.5 tall. Thank you in advance.
Beautiful!!
love it!! cool
Thanks SEAN68.
Thank you surfdub66
I'm intrigued. I've tried searching Pentagon, Octagon, Hexagon & Paragon w/out success.
Have you tried a tissue paper and pencil rubbing of the mark to see if you can get any of the initial letters to show up?
I'm guessing by the style that it'll date circa 60s, rather than 8os.

Funny, you should mention this, I just tried this morning. No luck. I even used some of my tools from my studio to get an impression from this mark and nothing. Please keep in mind, I’m old and I struggle to see at all. lol. I appreciate you and the help with research. That’s huge. Thank you. One more thing, I agree with the date piece, it is either 61 or 64. I will keep at it. It is the © piece that makes me the most curious. So was this mass produced like a universal statuary piece, what do you think?
