I have 39 of these beauties. After researching for month's, I learned that they were manufactured by R. Williamson & Co. in Chicago. They supplied most schools in the 1950's. They were rescued from a grade school that was built in 1953 and these were the original lights. I saved them from being tossed into a dumpster and never seen again. I'm glad I did because I literally spent month's researching them until I found some on Houss. The dimensions are 16" wide by 14" tall. The stem is approx. 6". The globes are glass. The hardware finish is brushed silver. Absolutely love them. If anyone has any other information, I would love to know.
The brushed silver is slightly pitted. Should I refinish them or leave them the way they are. What's are your thought's.
