This awesome vase is no stranger to folks who visit CW regularly, or even just recently. By a happy set of circumstances, I am the proud new owner of the vase, but my purpose is not just to show off the beauty of the same vase again. There is no way to improve on Tony's photos, so I won't even try. I do have some additional information to report, however. This particular vase (or one just like it) was on display at the Winter Exhibition at the Austrian Museum of Arts and Industry (the MAK) in 1901-1902. See photo number 3 for a scan of the original period photo reproduced in Loetz 1900, by Waltraud Neuwirth. I believe that the ground color of this vase is Maron (or Chestnut). The last photo is a scan of the matching basic shape PN II-733. All of this points to a production date of 1901, which means whatever the unknown PG designation is, it will most likely begin with the digits "1/". :)
