I don't know a lot about this saddle, cant find a stamp, but it has "steel fork" on both latigos. I would assume with those stamped it would have a makers mark and it may, but not that I have seen.

Don't know all that much about saddles but it seems to have a strange "tilt" to it. Not western. Maybe Spanish.

Thank you for the insight, that's an area I will look in to. I have such a love/hate relationship with all my old kewl junk. IM like a bulldog with OCD, I latch on and don't quit till I find the history on it LOL

Have you looked under the leather saddle corner (top layer, and bottom layer) for any marks there....

Sometimes the marks are hard to be found, but they are there....

Eh I have looked everywhere (that's my story and IM sticking to it) although after a break I go back and learn something new. I need a CSI kit for finding these things.

      LOL....EH?

Sometimes a person just needs to take a breathe of air......and start all over looking again (Slowly....LOL). I once missed a signature on a piece of glass as I looked on the bottom (not on the side). It happens to all of us sometimes.

If not -- send a pic to some Saddle company and see if they have any idea on the maker. Always worth a shot.....EH?

      lol

Another day spent cuddling my flashlight looking like Stokes with know luck. Yeah I had planned the plan "B" methed of a tack and saddle company, I just get hard headed at times. So I ended up e-mailing one, now its hurry up and wait. Eh, yeah my dang Canuck friends, at least I havnt pulled out FFS yet . I`ve enjoyed the comments and advice. Thank you

You have such interesting and what variety! Sorry, I'm too much of a city slicker to know much about saddles.
      Welcome to CW!

LOL AmberRose was that meant to be interesting junk? I buy and sell a lot of unique items I know absolutely nothing about (that's the fun part) UGH the "Saddle" I am such a Texas beach bum I had to buy pants for a friends graduation, I`ve only worn shorts for seven years, the only cowboy about me is IM good for an eight second ride. I just feel there is something to this saddle like maybe howdy doody used it LOL. Thank you for the welcome. OH my personal collection is petrolina, signs and pedal cars. :)
