    Does anyone know if this is the marines? and the age? why is there a hole in the top and bottom? he lso has a swing arm.

      My experienced guess is that the mold was temporarily plugged at the bottom while the metal was poured from the top. A moment later, you "uncork" the bottom so the still molten metal pours out. That way you have a hollow object & a lot of extra metal for making more. Is it hollow?
