Vintage 2 pc. Matching Cream and Sugar Nippon wt Markings Beautiful Gold Work. I purchased this set from an auction. Trying to find out age..
I posted the marks on the bottom, i cropped them hoping this would help, but I cannot make out the mark and cannot get it to show in the pics.
Please post a photo of the marks on the base, so that we can help you with a maker and date.
It looks like the blue Maple leaf mark, which was used, according to marks4antiques, by Morimura Brothers from 1870-1910. They also made a lot of early Noritake pieces. (If you sever come across any porcelain marked with an M in a wreath). The Nippon collectors Society have it recorded as being used from 1891.
