With spring blooming here in Michigan after a long, cold winter, I haven't had much time nor inclination to troll eBay for old Coca-Cola pieces.
A couple weeks ago, I did however negotiate a BIN - best offer deal for this cool cooler tube radio display by maker Point of Purchase Displays, Inc. Paid full value shown in Blaine's earlycoke.com price guide for an EX example. Size is 12" x 9" x 9".
The radio lights up and hums, and I was able to barely dial in an AM station upstairs. I am not sure whether I will have it serviced or not, considering reception down here in the cave is probably non-existent.
Though, being a child of AM radio (I do love the 70's rock /pop and - God help me - Disco), I may have an obligation to put her in fire-up mode.
For now, I will just enjoy looking at it!

Looks great Dave! The radio is in clean condition. I'm liking what I see in the Coke cave.
Beautiful... I love anything with the Coca-Cola script logo in "raised" lettering.
In plastic or metal.
You want to run your fingers over them... then with a soft cloth, gently brush over them.
Gorgeous piece...
Red-Red
Thanks CokeKid and Red.
Red, I've taken a soft cloth to it and removed layers of grime and smoke. Still working on it, every time I buff it more comes off. They sure used to puff 'em down back then...
I noticed you hadn't posted in a while, but don't go blaming it on your escape from cabin fever.... we know you were huddled in a corner dialing in as much disco as your ears could handle on this little beauty!!
LMAO, you know it Tom! Good to hear from you and thanks. Hope you're enjoying the thaw as well.
Nice find Dave! Have you heard me on it yet?? LOL
I'm still tuning it in Perry! Thanks Man.
