Could use any ideas on this one - this vase has a smooth (glatt) outer texture - the ground is a golden yellow, with strong purple/red iridescence. It also illustrates a point that I have always promoted - sellers shouldn't take photos of glass against a colored background. The auction photos for this piece were taken against a blue background, and the vase looked like it was a dull green. But the reality is, it's a gorgeous golden yellow. The shape is unusual. My first thought was Gold-Cypern by the Josephine glass works, but it does not have the crackle finish usually found on the Cypern line. I'm open to any help the CW community might be able to provide in attributing this great piece.
