    This is I believe a very old brass/ copper Toast Rack.
    I love this as it is quintessentially Australian.
    Maybe from the 1920- 1930s.
    With the Kookaburra sitting on the top.
    I love older pieces that incorporate our Wildlife.
    I haven't much more to add.
    Just sharing this wonderful piece of our History.

      Great thing!
      I think all Aussies love old pieces with wildlife on them....whether it's a kookaburra, koala or a kangaroo. Wonderful piece. (I'm in Sydney too)
