(88 items)
These lamp shades are made by Hobbs Brockunier circa 1886.
From left to right:
#1709 rubina verde satin, #1707 rubina verde satin, (center shade) #1706 canary opal, (center bowl) #203 rubina verde, #1707 rubina verde, #1706 rubina verde opal
All of these shades have 5" rim fitters and are the larger sizes that were made.
The #203 bowl front center is very rare and has a unique pin wheel swirl of cranberry set into the canary body with opalescence on the tips of the hobnails.
Beautiful!!
Vaselineglass.org are you? As found some there and they look just like your items??
Thanks antiquerose! I am not vaselineglass.org. One of the shades did come from Dave Peterson who is the moderator of that site. It is the first lamp that I bought and was thrilled to own it. I never thought I would find another one but low and behold, I obtained all of these within 2 months. Unheard of? I think so! I am a lucky boy :)
lol.....Thanks, I was not sure if you were or not. thought best ask first.....LOL
