I think this made be deer or a kidskin hide decorated with glass beads not sure of the age ..can you help thanks!! Another yard sale find from years ago !It also was sewed by hand!

I have never seen a Indian made vest with button holes and buttons ? It is a nice handmade vest . I am wondering if beads are actually sewn on vest or applied . Nice find .Pockets look machine sewn on ? are they .

I love it . Just have seen lots of Indian made things and they are generally made t perfection ,every bead and stitch . This could have been a project by someone other than a Indian to look like Indian vest . Just a thought , Even the children are taught to bead and sew with supervision until they get it perfect . It appears to have been worn a lot so whoever made it ,it was cherished and worn . Hope someone else chimes in on it also on CW :-) I could be wrong just my opinion .
you could be right...some may of been machine stitched close together stitching
