This old iridescent 6-1/2" tall vase is a beautiful deep blue and clear mottled glass with yellow-green splashes of colored glass added here and there. It is in perfect condition, as is the copper (I believe) embossed collar. Usually collars on old vases show signs of corrosion or denting, but this collar is very highly detailed and in pristine condition, which is a bit unusual. I have tried to ID the maker of my vase, but was unable to find any decors that were a match. I did find one example of a similar vase, with the same collar (see last image). If anyone has any ideas on a maker, I'd love to hear your ideas. Thanks!
Stunning colours!!! Great find!
Thanks, Lee! :)

Michelle that's beautiful....
Both glass and collar are delightful.
Thank you antiquerose, AnneLanders and sklo42! I don't have a lot of blue in my collection, and was lucky to be able to add this one! :)
I love the copper with the blue. I wonder if it was silver plated at one time? I am sure silver would look equally lovely but the copper is delightful.
Beautiful...I want one of these!
Lisa, thanks so much. I am not sure if it was ever silver plated, since even the deep crevices are copper colored and I don't see any traces of silver, but I am sure that silver would have also go wonderfully with the blue.
Thanks, Mac! And I want one of just about everything in your amazing collection, too! ;)
I think this would look very nice along side my blues!...:-))
Thanks inky, I thought the same thing! :) You have some beauties!
Would you like me to send you my address....:-)))))
...only so I'd know where all the other lovely blue (and Rindskopf) vases are! ;))
