I was at a sale and spotted this on a table. It appears to be some type of hand held signaling device. There are two glass lenses, one is blue and one is red, and it holds two āDā size batteries. Unfortunately, it does not work. The long threaded brass rod makes me think it also screwed on to something, along with being hand held.
This was manufactured by The Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware Company, which has been in business for over 100 years. This makes me think it is some type of marine signaling light.
very cool :)
I know Perkins is still in business, so ask them.
I found out what it is, so I don't have to ask them. It is a battery operated bow light.
