This 6-footed, ribbed, orange tango vase is 20.5cm tall. It has a crimped silver rim hallmarked HH&SN, London.
It is just possible to make out a gothic "l" for 1926, which is very faded.

Lol, that made me laugh....6 footed, my,my,my, that must have been tough to get through the male box...lol....
Finally realised it was a vase with 6 feet!
And as us pot collectors know, sometimes the silver was not made at the same time as the item...quite a strange little one isn't it with silver, how did you come by it? And do you know which English glass makers made Tango...
What a really interesting find!!
See again, that spell check...mail box !
6 foot would be a bit big for most of us! I got this in the UK and, as far as I know, no UK makers made these bright orange and yellow colours, but I am happy to be put right.
Here you go, something to help you with you research.

I've looked assays and there is a question if it's Henry Hobson.
Good luck..
Anne
Thank you, Anne. I had read the Henry Hobson [?] thing as well. It should be possible to find out at the assay office... Maybe another time.
