This collection represents the various original design Westclox Spur series from 1938 to 1957. The white dials, and the black dial at upper right, are pre-WWII, and have case-mounted alarm silencers. The upper left white dial also has a relatively rare patent number on the case (see other photos). The lower left and center clocks are post WWII and have alarm silemcer buttons mounted in the Series 66 movment. Otherwise, they are all basically identical inside and out. They were all running and keeping good time as the photos were taken. Finding unstained white dials is hard; the upper left one is an original; the lower right one is a reproduction - with a close look and magnifying glass, a knowledgable collector can easily see that. The pre-war black cases were rusty hulks, and so have been repainted.
I have the lower left pictured clock, and I still use it. Is it worth anything?
Hi,today I have found a spur similar to the one at the top right, white dial but with a golden 4 square inch center, flat black case dated 1932 spur on the backside,is this very rare ??
