I picked up this footboard yesterday. The headboard was not available. I have no idea what era this is from or what style it is. My guess is that it's French Provincial, Victorian era but.......it's only a guess.
I just finished re-staining it, as there were scratches etc in it.
I will be making it into a bench or a decorative piece attached to a chest
Please tell me the approx period this is and if you think it was made at the turn of the century, the 20s, 30s or ......?
Update: My husband says that he can fabricate the piece of trim at the top center that is missing. Woooo Hoooo, it won't look "broken" anymore.
