    old steel block planes would anyone know the age ,thanks had these for 20 years , Stanley no.110 on one of them , ive had to use these a lot over the years

      They haven't been used much or taken care of for years. The one on the left (pic #1 is late 1980's, I have the same) the second one may be a little earlier but not much. Clean them up and spray them with WD-40 and then put them in an old cotton cotton sock. The sock will absorb moisture before it gets to them and the WD-40 will keep them looking good. These are both really common block planes but if taken care of will last a life time. They never increased in value because they are so common. They originally sold for under $10 on sale.
