Found this 5 inch x 5 inch Imperial Glass Candy dish at a yard sale.

I believe the color is amethyst iridescent. It is made by Imperial Glass

It is a turkey sitting over a nest ( note the feet).

There is a mark Capital " G "with superimposed over a stylized letter "I"

The marking indicate it was made 1940- 1951.

This piece is # 149 made in 1951.

It is my understanding that this piece is rare

Often hard to tell from photos but the color looks like maybe IG Purple Glaze; blue iridescence on amethyst glass.
