I don't really know anything about this other than my Grandmother had it on display along with a similar piece that is in the shape of a basket in brown's and burgandy...It's really pretty and in perfect condition no chip's or anything. It was up on the attic floor just collecting dust with all the other treasure's.

This is a slag-glass swan -- made by INDIANA GLASS CO according to this website, which pictures one exactly like yours -- http://hcgat.com/swans4.htm -- ebay values aren't much, but it is a pretty piece.

It is marvelous piece of graphic art and the colors are so vibrant and
delicacy of the swan's neck and beak is unbelievable true to life. The
thinking of this unique idea is for a bowl is god's gift. I wish i could see
      this piece personaly.

These were not made by Indiana glass. They were made by a company in Oklahoma and therefore go by the name Sooner Glass. Very popular in the 1970's.

Did you ever find out any information on it or the value of it I have a similar one just a different color.

I'm from Oklahoma, and my grandmother had one of these, too.

This looks to have been pulled at the Central Glass Company (Olde Hickory brand). They were in Spiro, Oklahoma, and were in business from 1962-2005.

'Sooner Glass' is brand that was created by Roy Sebo. There is also Marigold, among others. It all gets tossed into the 'Sooner' label, even though much of it was crafted in Arkansas, Missouri and Colorado. Call it Ozark Art Glass and you'll be safe. :)
