so this is a real mystery for me and I have never seen a vase in this technique before. it's made by threading hot cane on the bubble and blown out to make the decor. canes are usually pre manufactured before they are used in making art glass. I suppose it could be an experimental piece since the production is very demanding and the result is not better than if it was made using pre made canes.
to me it looks Art Deco, technique venetian, execution bohemian, so what am I saying I have no idea what it is.
top and bottom rims are cut and polished, no pontil marks, the black base is dark dark amethyst.
