Today I found this brass candlestick at the fleamarket!
It reminds me of Viennese jugendstil.
The candleholders at the top, are a little bit bent to the side... they are fastened with screws so it's possible to remove them.
The only mark I can find is " XX" under the bottom as shown in the last picture.
All ideas of maker or origin are very welcome!

Many thanks to SEAN68 for your helpfulness with editing the first photo for me!! :)

Lucky you finding such nice stuff at fleamarkets!!! It's so beautiful! It would fit with our Jugendstil candleholders, even if yours is purely geometrical

austrohungary, wow!!! Your candleholders are so, so totally gorgeous...!!!
      Amazing!!!
This one was sold by an old lady, and she had put a big, homemade beanie over the candlestick, I saw only the base at first... so i lifted the beanie, and this showed up underneath...!!

That's great: you find treasures under beanies!!!! It sounds like an updated kind of magic (thinking about the magician taking white rabbits out of top-hats, haha) :)

Well, what can I say: i guess this candleholder makes an amazing beanie holder :) a trully beautiful one

Hahahaha!!! :) lol!!! Yes maybe the lady was a kind of modern fairy godmother... when I think about it she had a bit of a mysterios smile..!!! :)
I want to straighten out the top candleholders, so it's possible to use it for candles again...and not only beanies..!! :)

It will look great with candles on it. You should add a pic of it being used!

SEAN68, thank you so much!!! Yes I like it!! :) It looks very luxurois and glamourous!!
It's so, so kind of you!!
However, I think the unedited photos are also important to show, because when the light/exposure is increased that much in a picture, a certain amount of information is lost...it's harder to see the patina, and small details. And if one day someone shows up who could help with identifying the candlestick, it helps to have this..!
But thank you so much for your most kind and helpful offer!!! :) I'm very happy to have the title photo beautifully edited by you!!! :) Thanks again!!!
