Here another G.A.S. bracelet. This one is on matte silver, which gives it a modern finish. It bears a religious inscription in gothic script made in enamel. It reads 'Gott schütze dich' which means 'May God keep you'. Marked G.AS. 1 800.
All of the G.A.S. bracelets have a number, the one I posted before has the number 3. I still do not know what these numbers mean, I would appreciate it if anyone can help. Thanks!
This is a much classier version of those rubber bands people wear now with things printed on them!
Yes, racer, I suppose it's the same idea but in classy Victorian style :) Thanks to everyone who has loved!
Love it! And the gothik (?) script too :-)
Very rare example I think. I wish I knew but unfortunately I cannot answer your question. But it's funny recently I showed here a Georg Adam Scheid locket pendant and necklace he made in a later period to be precise in 1867. You can see it on http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/113953-georg-adam-scheid-enameled-silver-niello
Sorry I mean an earlier period.
Thanks for your nice comment and loving on my pendant. And everything for sale in both our ancient homeland!
