I found this doll on google while searching for Shirley Temple dolls. Unfortunately, only the dress was for sale. I find this doll very cute and I am hoping to know who made this mold.
I hope to find the answer here. Thanks in advance!
I think she is a Danbury Mint made porcelain Shirley , in late 1990's -2000. Or she was sculpted by a doll artist without permission from From Shirley Temple . Only a few companies were ever givin rights to sell her dolls . Ideal Toy CO had exclusive rights from the first one made of her in 1930's ( Yours is not a Ideal doll they have not put one out since 1970's ) then Danbury was given rights t sell . Many companies sold look a like dolls but were not allowed to call her a Shirley Temple doll.
The dress she is wearing is nt one that was ever made to resemble the ones produced from her movies ,
This darling Shirley Temple doll is sculpted by Dianna Effner for Expressions and is called portrait #5. Expressions sells doll molds but I found someone to sell me the parts to make the doll at "Dolls Your Way". There is a waiting list though.
Wow thank you @equilibreartsc I love her dolls!
