This very heavy pot came from a bricabrac shop for £3.
Its in a speckly brown colour with a pattern around the neck in blue with the inside in the same blue , it has a signature on the base but I cant quite make it out as it been rubbed, looks like - Ganrey T?ap?-
Its a great shape i love the pattern almost aztec and A1 condition 7" tall x 5.5" widest , if anyone recognises the name or pot I would be very greatful to hear from you :-)
Thanx agh, nuts, mike , geo & vetario:-)

Are you aware of the FB group for British potters - I don't have the link anymore but the group focuses on identifying and celebrating studio pottery ....might be a resource for you.

Does it not say “Germany” ?

Thamks maryh , it definatly isnt germany or gambone!! But is 6 letters.
Looks definatly -Gan then could be an r or I then a gap y or g
the bottom word could be italy - or even start with a J or T looks to be a 4 or 5 letter word JA_P_ or TALP_..
OR COULD BE NONE OF THE ABOVE!!
thanx for trying ..sd
