    Just found today at recycle dump... 1867 Royal Worcester ceramic plate, marked with crest and an "a". There is a series of numbers below but I am not sure of the meaning. It has a lot of crazing and there is a tiny chip along the edge but it only cost me a quarter! I don't know much about R. Worcester so... any feedback? Thx!

      The four digit number is probably the pattern number along with the decorator’s initials
