I bought this as a photography prop because of it's uniqueness. I know nothing about it. I have searched images online and can not find any like it. I'm wondering if it was possibly hand made. I would love to learn more.

My initial thoughts were to paint it, since it's just a prop-but I'm afraid to!

I can't see the photos well either. From what I can see I think this was commercially made but not all at the same time. By that I mean years ago there was a company that modified regular chairs and made them into high chairs. It was before I was born and I am old as dirt. The arm spacers aren't clear. I am not positive but I think there was a company in New York that sold the parts to convert a regular chair into a high chair. I am thinking during or shortly after the depression.
