My grandmother got this clock from her boss many, many years ago. Upon inspection it has Jun.14.81 imprinted on metal inside.

I think it might be a Savoy model, but the font of the numbers and lack of faceplate make me think it's a different version of the Savoy. Unless said faceplate is unfortunately missing...

It was in working order when I was a kid, so I assume it still runs fine. Since then the pendulum fell off (I still have it though). I also have the key that you'd wind it up with.

Both my grandmother and I are curious as to how much of a collector's item it is.

    Unsolved Mystery

See eBay completed listings for Ansonia "Savoy".
      http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=ansonia+savoy&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=10&_fpos=&_fsct=&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50

You say the pendulum "fell off". They are supposed to be removed when the clock is moved. I think it should hook back on with no problem unless the suspension spring or pendulum rod was damaged.

Yeah, I think the rod was damaged/discarded since I don't see one.

Another interesting thing is that the hinge on the door to the clock is on the opposite side compared to the clock pictured in that ebay link.
