DEP Streamline Art Deco Alarm Clock

This striking Streamline Art Deco alarm clock was made by the French clock maker DEP in the early to mid 1930s. I haven’t been able to discover a model name. It features a fabulous red-brown mottled Bakelite case with enough curves, steps, and speed lines to keep any Streamline fan happy! The cream colored dial has a shell motif embossed at its center and handsome Deco numerals, framed by a polished aluminum bezel. The clock measures roughly 5 1/4" wide x 4' high x 1 1/2" deep.
