Hello! Kevin got me thinking about England! I brought this home from my summer Kensington Palace Mansion! I spend summers there so I can visit The Queen! haha This salt shaker shaped like a Bobby Hat was brought back from WW-2 by my mother who was Army Nurse. I never asked her the story of how she got it? Maybe US Army was close by? Mom left Iceland to Eng. Then to N. Y. to work with Kate Smith selling war bonds. See old Post. Well this is Silver plated I think. I use to keep my Coke inside! haha joking!! Maybe Ken. Palace was a hosp. during war? toracat OH House #8 during the war and after was an interrogation place for German prisoners called the LONDON CAGE Maybe not a salt shaker but a torture device! My mind is running wild now! Mom will make them talk or she will use the Bobby on them!! A flat, apt. cost 10 Million Dollars! I was just thinking! My mom took Winston Chur. photo see old post in Iceland, got promoted to 1st Lt. Then went to Eng.? Then got promoted to Captain, then went NY. City and toured with Kate Smith Then was Chief Nurse on worlds largest Hosp. Ship Zmy mind running crazy again. bye
very nice!!
Thanks Sean!
I think there is Kensington Palace and Kensington Palace Mansions.
Mind you I don't think she was in anything but smart accommodation at the Mansions. The area is VERY smart. It is south across Palace Green from KP itself.

"Over-sexed, over-paid and over-here"! No offense intended. Just popped into mind.
Thanks Kevin! great photos! Maybe my mom had PTSD, she tried to satisfy all the American and British Doctors, but just too many! haha
Tsk tsk, your Mama will wash your brain out with soap!
She passed in 1993! She was a good baker and cook. Ironed even my t-shirts. Worked on farm and as an RN. No time for me! boo hoo
Nice family remember :-)
We always think "know nothing about the story of this object, too late to ask my mom about it..."
XOXO Don!
So true! thank you! XXOOXX
