Have no idea what these are, my late step father had them for ages and when he passed we inherited them. He had a lot of antiques but these where his favourite. I find them fascinating and the detail is astonishing for something that seems to be made with wax. I'd like to know what there called and possibly who the people are.
Any information at all would be great.

They are fabulous! You are very lucky to have them.
Tassie’s Catalogue of Impressions in Sulphur of Antique and Modern Gems (1775) listed pastes in intaglio and cameo forms sold directly by him and also by London jewelers.
