    Hello Collectorsweekly Users:

I'm in possession of one very nice Porcelain Doll (un-named, but I call her "Pouty") The following text and corresponding pictures are representative a brief synopsis of what I know:

The doll is between 18 and 20 inches tall. "Hello Dolly Signature Series" is predominately marked on the Doll. Some other pertinent information "SFBJ 252", "Pouty" and B-117. The doll is wearing a peach taffeta dress and hat with white lace trim. According to my doll expert, this particular pouty face is a reproduction of a very desirable antique. We're not certain about the age, but there is strong evidence that this doll is 20+ years old.

?????? I really don't know what this doll is worth, what the marks that I listed above mean, and I have no clue as to how I would complete the series either. I'd like to collect all the dolls in the series, because a complete set would be much more valuable. ?????

That mold 252 last number is size she is a popular one to copy and reproduce . The original was made by (SFBJ) short for
Société Française de Fabrication de Bébé & Jouets 1899-1958, The pouty face is much loved by doll collectors and and the original one from early 1900 carries a high price . The original 252 did not say Pouty on her either . Kerry is exactly right on age . New collectibe doll was never meant as a toy .

History the largest French manufactures combined to become SFBJ
SFBJ Dolls - In 1899 the following French doll makers formed an alliance named SFBJ; Adolphe Bouchet,
Bru Jne et Cie, Fleischmann & Bloedel (or Blödel), François Gaultier, A. Benoit Gobert, Jumeau, Pintel & Godchaux, Rabery & Delphieu, Frédéric Remignard, Arthur Wertheimer. Later P. H. Schmitz, Danel & Cie (as part of Jumeau) and Jullian joined and ca. 1925 SFBJ handled the dolls of Béatrice Mallet and Jean Ray.

I am not sure what series of dolls you are referring to as SFBJ did not do a series of any doll .

The series of dolls by Hello Dolly Signature Series can be easily on ebay found they value from 10-30 dollars

It says "Hello Dolly Signature Series", I am assuming that this doll is part of a set, and I do want a complete before I consider selling her individually.

They made many dolls with different faces . "Hello Dolly Signature series " was just name of company and their Logo " They made so many different dolls all tagged Signature series on hang tags , To collect them all would be a feat and not increase the value of the dolls since most people would not buy 50 or more dolls at once .
