this mystery coffin is 8 1/2 in. long,4in width (at top) down to 3 in. to the bottom portion and is about 4 in. high, I havent been able to find anything out this mystery item!!!

so curious as to what this is, and help will be GREATLY appreciated!! would like to know of it's origin, how old, what exactly it is,etc. I have searched and searched but to no avail!!!!!
