Garage sale find. 1932 Milton Bradley Jolly Clown Balloon Game. Spinner indicates who takes off a marble from the balloon bunch.

As neat as this is, the coolest thing about it was the stack of get well letters written to Loren in Dacoma OK. Not sure if Loren is a girl or boy but they obviously were from classmates and Loren had been sick long enough to warrant sending get well wishes. All the letters mentioned that Christmas was coming soon and were dated 1934. I would wager that Loren got this for Christmas this year and kept the letters in the box as a pick me up as he/she was getting over whatever was ailing them.

I love back stories and even though this one is speculation I'l bet it's pretty accurate.
