Found this one today at the recycle centre!! He let wifey have it for free ...Hmmm?? Ill have to take her more often !!
A lovely heavy stoneware jug in blue/grey speckled finish & a great shape, this jug is marked on the bottom of the handle which I havnt founnd yet ?? Also what looks like initials scratched in the clay on the thumb print base which I think are IK or Z depends which way you look at it but then could just be a scrape in the clay when made that looks this way?? I took a pic of it but its very hard to see , It is 10" high 5"across and we think a lovely colour in great condition..
if anyone recognises the mark on the handle please share your knowledge it will be much appreciated:-)
