I got it from a friend as a gift. It brings me childhood memories my aunt had one similar to it. And hers was 200 years old.
The all in one Chester draw set looks as the same one that was in the movie Pirates Of the Caribbean with Johnny Deep! I had thought I was going to keep it for my baby. So now someone else can treasure it as I did.
A very practical idea for small space rooms like in hotels of that era. In my warped thinking, maybe a gun cabinet with drawers for ammo. From that angle, I would have to give more thought to what the mirror would be used for. Oh, and welcome to CW, or what ever site I'm looking at right now!
Hi blunderbuss2
Thank you for your kind comment. Those are two great ideas you have for my piece. Actually I have used it myself to put and hang clothes, shoes, and it is a dresser.
If the mirror gets polish one can use it to powder up' s (considering it is over hundred years old, and the mirror still has reflection).
