MacArt

When I just got into art glass I did not see lampwork as serious business, but then I stumbled upon pieces by Istvan Komaromy and it flipped my mind 180 degrees. Lampwork could be as serious art as any. Komaromy is famous by his glass ladies, and this one reminded me of him so I got it.
STUNNING !!! NICE ONE MacArt !!
Thank You Sean, You are always first with commenting. And thank You and Manikin for loving it!
Just fabulous! That blue! Such poise! Adagio!
She is beautiful.
No marks or signatures? Certainly made by a practiced and clever artist.
wow! Wonder how such detail can be made!
Your very welcome MacArt!!!
thank You my friends for all the comments and loves!
Unfortunately no signatures or labels. Detail is exactly what attracted me to it, the body looks so anatomically correct, shoulders, arms, legs and pasture (feet are a bit oversized, but I believe it's only because they are points of mounting to the base)... looks like one of those dolls artists use instead of models. I too believe it's made by experienced lampwork artist, because to make something like this you would have to be very familiar with sculpting and glass itself.
Agree with Sean. She really is stunning! Love her colour.
Gosh! Wish I was that shape!!!!!:) A beauty MacArt!!
a real art work
