This was my mother's aunt's doll in the early 1900's. Composite head has been repaired in back. Handmade dress probably from later period.

She is in rough shape to tell much about face but body has been replaced my someone . She is precious as she was a family heirloom but I can just not tell you who made her , as many many companies made composition dolls and most look similar . There are a few faces that stand out that had a character look to them . like a laughing face , a sad face . Yours is what we call a Dolly Face :-) What is dark brown under her bonnet ?
Thanks for the information:) My mom thinks her grandma made a cloth patch to repair it, and my mom repainted it, as well as the face 60 years ago.
