Here's a few of my many Indian clubs. these were exercise clubs, popular up through the 1920s in America. the really large and unusual ones are the most valuable. i think they have a lot of potential as decorator items. i have a few skittles sets too. and then there's my collection of old rules and t-squares! i guess i'm just a collector.... not sure which category this falls under.
I used to enjoy skittles when I lived in Jamaica & this brings back memories. Americans have probably never heard of the game.
we had skittles here in the us too. but they disappeared around the time television came into power.
That's a long, long time. We had skittles in Jamaica well into the 80's. A real challenging game. Of course that's before everybody had to have a hand-held "joy stick" to get any attention. I almost said something about our days back then but caught myself in time.
Sweet! They look so good grouped together!
My brother still plays skittles for pub in in Bristol UK. I think it's still popular in that area.
thank you blunderbuss2 and pops52! [i thought blunder was going to say something about his 'joystick'!]
Ho2, I thought it was known worldwide! Usual comments are, "I didn't know they came that small" or "That must be the economy size". LOL!!!
