We found this very neat liquor decanter with a stamp that says Japan at the bottom. It winds up and plays a song when held, a second spring mechanism slightly larger will stop playing the song when sat down and pushed in and will start playing again once picked up. Has cork on underside of knight helmet. Bottle is brown and is quite cloudy but still some what translucent. Has anyone seen anything like this? I joined this site to comment on your Knight decanter... My grandfather left me alot of decanters and ceramic lights. This one in particular i also own and was wondering if you've gathrted any knowledge on this item since your post 6 minths prior. I eould love to know its value for we already kbow its origin from the made in japan sticker. please respond
Yes I have a bottle like this (really sorry if I'm hijacking your post) and I would love to know more about it, mine is a horse with armor. Maybe we have part of a series, seeing as yours is a knight and mine is a "war horse"? It's the same though, with the music box and trigger, and the Japan sticker. Good luck!
