Rail Master Pocket Watch; Even the Seconds are Numbered; Made in Great Britain, Appears to be in Brass Case, in Excellent Working Condition and has Beautiful Locomotive Engraved on the Back of the Watch. The diameter of the face of the watch is 1-1/2". If one includes the case, it is 2" in diameter. I am trying to assess its approximate value. I could not find a date on the watch. However, I did not open the watch to view the inner workings. I set the watch, wound it and it is running. It appears to keep good time.

My husband recently passed away and I found the watch in his personal items. My husband's age at the time of passing was 91. I have no idea how he came to own this watch.

If you press the palms of both sides of your hands on either side of the watch & twist in a counter clock-wise direction, it may unscrew. May take tapping around the rim on something like a counter top to get it to loosen-up. Can't tell much without seeing the inside. Looks like a nice watch with bad pics..
