Oh boy Rose ! Now I know who made mine. I picked up a cobalt blue one a couple of days ago with my lamp. I had been trying to ID it before posting. What a coincidence !

I found one like this yesterday at a church sale - but only the top! I looked everywhere but the other part was missing. Too bad for me :(

Anne, just searched the AU site for 'rooster' under glass and there is a green one by Westmoreland listed there. The WG rooster has more realistic looking feathers whereas the Smith rooster is more stylized.

Lol..oh thank you...lol..I'll look right now...it was more about my egg suggestion that I thought they were ignoring such a fine suggestion...I've seen these in country kitchens with eggs in them....but I will look and see if I can afford it for my budget which reopens next week:) thank you tallcakes...

Thank you tallcakes again...think I might try and get the red Amberina style one I've seen as it ties up with my cerise and orange le creuset I've got in the kitchen... Gosh I wonder if I should catalogue that stuff in here..lol..even the blue hen would still go well to break it up,as I think the green is a little insipid maybe?

Appreciate and will ad this to a new auction filter... :)
