Again, dug up from my field in Marion, FL.
It appears to be a cover of some kind. The first picture is what I think is the outside because it has a beveled square hole. The last picture looks like the inside and has a recessed area that looks like it has letters or symbols, but I cannot make them out. Someone guessed that this is the piece called a "landside" part of a plow. But, he could not identify the maker or have any idea how old this is. It was also guessed to be a plow point. From pictures, it looks more like a landside to me, but I don't know much about plows. I'd love some help with this one.
Dimensions - 7 1/4" long by 3" high by no more than 1/4" thick.

Let me add that I think the length dimension is incorrect. The more I look at the piece the more I pretty much believe that the small end and diagonal side are in tact, but the sort of square end is where the part broke off. I think the part is supposed to be longer and I think there are probably more letters/numbers/symbols that should be part of what is there. I also just found another larger piece about 40 yards away from where I found this one. It looks very much like a Oliver Chilled plow point or a clone after the patent ran out. It is smaller than another that I see on ebay right now which is 17" long. This one I have found is about 9" long and it appears the other dimension is where it broke off. I'll post pictures after I've gotten it cleaned off a bit. I have no idea if these two parts are from the same plow, but it seems a likely scenario.
