My my wife's grandfather gave me this as a gift a couple of months ago. There is no detailed history on it. As you can see from the images, the main blade is marked on both sides. Front view shows Henckles International logo, and at its base says Henckles International Soligen. The posterior aspect says 1910 Germany. I imagine thats the year of its manufacturing, please correct if I'm wrong.
Aside from a little bit of tarnish/rust on the metal, it appears to be in excellent condition. It has a nice weight and the blades are still sharp. I would like to verify its authenticity.
