Hand made shoes with odd markings inside shoe

I purchased these at a thrift store. They are leather. Inside the shoe on the insole they have markings. One with Sup and a bird and the other Not much and a fish.
Has anyone ever seen shoes like these and hopefully if so who made them and what it means.
