I just started sewing and I found this cabinet with bench at a thrift store. It's transport dimensions are: (L) 33" X (W) 21" X (H) 29 1/2". It's work table dimensions are (L)68" X (W)22". I have turned it upside down, sideways, and every other way to find a manufacture's stamp; needless to say it does not have one. I don't know if it is a custom one of a kind cabinet since can't I find any pictures of it on the internet. I am looking for pictures of the way it is suppose to look so I can restore to it's original glory. The previous owner modified the top and frankly it does not look right. I plan on installing my new Singer Heavy Duty machine (model 4423) and I need to also know how it is suppose to mount and store properly. Any help in identifying the manufacture would be greatly appreciated.
Update: After looking again I found a tag. It was manufactured by the Ricardo Lynn & Co, Order number 72579. But I still have not found a picture to reference the table top for repairs.
Thanks,
Mac Diaz
I have this same table. I bought it at an estate sale about 10 years ago. Yours looks just like mine. I do think min is missing the piece that you would attach the sewing machine to, though. What is it that you want to see. I can't tell from your pictures how it was modified.
I have this exact cabinet. I would like to sell it. It is the original unmodified and a gorgeous piece of furniture. I bought it in the Philippines in 1970. It has been moved several times and the back has some scratches.
