1950's briefcase, unusual story?!

Hello, Well 1950's my favorite uncle Arthur Evans, I am about 10 yrs. old. My father is a Lt. Colonel in US Army leaving for Washington D. C. or maybe the War College? He received one of the highest scores ever there, at the war college. Well my uncle Art Evans was a high ranking person for. well I think Ft. Bacon Davis Pipeline. I am probably wrong about this, but something like this. My middle name is Arthur, and my sons is also Arthur. He use to pull a Bar B Que behind his truck for the workers , he was a well a high ranking person. My favorite Uncle. My dad was leaving, with a paper bag from grocery store full of Army papers! Important papers, my uncle Art dumped out his briefcase and gave it to my dad. He said a Lt. Col. needs a briefcase! Not a grocery bag! Well my uncle Art was killed in a hiway accident. My mom said he tried to avoid hunters crossing the road?! Now I wonder if true or not? Maybe he was drunk? Anyway my son is also named Arthur, middle name. He grew up in orphanage and picked July 4th as birthday, I was born July 5, he said I would be born on his B-day! Later he found his mother and he was born on July 5!!
