This is a stemware collection consisting of 54 pieces (actually 53, as one green tumbler is missing). There are 6 different colors, each with 9 pieces. My father had them shipped over from France when he was in the army between late 1958-early 1961. I do not know where specifically the collection is from, nor do I know the maker. I also don't know what all the different pieces were used for! Any/all assistance is appreciated. They are just beautiful. A few pieces have very small chips/cracks, but overall they are in excellent condition. (I edited the title to reflect the solving of the mystery. See my comment below.)
Gorgeous set...and a glass for every occasion!
I think I just solved my own mystery! It took some serious googling, but I am certain my glassware set is Maastricht Carnaval from Holland. This is based on looking online and seeing the exact pieces, some displayed in their original boxes. So happy! Now to find a replacement for the missing piece....... :+)
Well done Susan!
