I found this beautiful vintage Singer sewing machine at an estate sale a couple of years ago. I did some research and believe this to be a 1902 model, which was made in Elizabeth, New Jersey. It does power up and came with a bunch of accessories in a cool fold up wooden storage box as shown. Any additional information on this item would greatly be appreciated.

What you have is called a Pheasant Singer . Pheasant referrs to the type of decals . It started out as a treadle machine and has had a motor put on it . The fold up wooden box for the attachments is called a puzzle box and these are highly sought after by collectors . So is the machine . Yours is a very nice one in that the decals are in good shape . It seems to need a good cleaning but you need to be careful of what you use to clean it with or you can distroy the decals .

Lovely machine - dates to October 6 1902, and great to get the puzzle box with it, it would fit straight back into a Singer treadle base if you found one to use.
