This is going to be a tough one as the piece isn't signed, but I am trying to identify this wonderful footed bowl that I picked up over 20 years ago at an estate sale in Washington state. I purchased probably 10 + pieces as a boxed lot and am guessing (or hoping) that perhaps some of them were made by known Washington potters.

This bowl has a black semi drip matte glaze on both the inside and outside of the vessel. It measures 4 3/4" high X 6 1/4" in diameter at the mouth. It sits on a 1/4" rim foot. I am hoping that someone may recognize the piece or the glaze as something associated with a particular studio artist. As always, I appreciate the time and effort and help of anyone out there.

      Perhaps Lorene or Ralph Spencer?

I'm not sure about this particular piece, but I believe that you identified the other piece I have displayed on here. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The glaze and everything is almost identical, but my question is "did they sign each piece, or most, but not all of them?" It is possible that this may be an unsigned Spencer.
