I felt sorry for this poor guy. He was sitting in the display case at Salvation Army and he's missing part of his horn. I really loved this little 6" Amber glass bull. I don't know if it's Murano or not as there are no marks or labels. He wasn't expensive so I decided to rescue him. The piece is pretty heavy for it's size and even the thin parts like his legs feel quite sturdy. I'm fairly sure he got bumped around at the store which is usually the case with the thrifts. He's still pretty cool though ! -Mike-
Thanks Ken :)... That's why I feel so bad that his horn is broken, but I just couldn't leave him behind. Maybe I can make him a pair of gold or silver prosthetic horn caps ...lol.
I'd have rescued this piece myself, congrats!!
Thanks southcop :) If I really like something a little damage isn't going to stop me. Most of my favorite pieces have chips, cracks, or minor flaws. It hurts the value but I usually never sell what I collect anyway so it's all good in my opinion.
